It's Mother's Day this Sunday (or Mothering Sunday if you prefer). As mum to 11-year-old Ashleigh, I'll be celebrating that. But we actually have three reasons to celebrate Sunday in our household. As well as Mother's Day it's my husband, Mark's, birthday and also our dog's. Ella will be the grand old age of two.
I'm therefore feeling generous and placed Bear With Me on promotion, making the Kindle download free all weekend (Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th March).
The main reason for selecting Bear With Me is becuase, as well as being a love story, it's a story of a mother and daughter.
Julie owns a specialist teddy bear shop in the North Yorkshire seaside town of Whitsborough Bay. Her daughter, Jemma, shares her passion for teddy bears and is the currator of the children's section at a museum in London. They've always been close so it's a huge shock to Jemma when Julie reveals that she's been diagnosed with a life-changing condition. What's even more worrying is that Julie's behaviour has changed and Jemma's concerned that there's another underlying condition.
I don't want to say too much more about the story as I'm at risk of giving out spoilers so I'll leave you with the blurb and a link so you can download it for FREE by clicking here. Happy Mother's Day! And, if you love what you read, I'd be ever so grateful if you could take the time to leave a review on Amazon. They make a massive difference to writers, especially indie writers like me. Thank you.
Enjoy your weekend.
